Dat
I still have a lot to learn about Dat, but it's pretty interesting.
It's a P2P protocol that you interact with in two main ways: either by using the (Git-like) CLI or GUI tools to grab and manage files or collections of files, or via the GUI, webbrowser-like, Beaker Browser. Beaker opens up a really different way to use the network, where you get a web-like experience of browsing documents (HTML, etc.) and sharing and hosting them. It places creation and viewing on the same level.
Another, non-generalised client for the Dat network is ScienceFair, which focuses of reading and finding science academic material, and has a really cool reader that connects relevant figures and references. Would love to see a version for fields outside of science … …
