I grabbed this one because I like the single of it I heard, Imagination, but it's mostly slow songs I'm not into. The upbeat stuff is good though: Once We Get Started, You, Imagination, Whatever Goes Around, Jumping Jack Flash. | ||

I like the title 'screen memory', but it's typical middling, eighties Aus stuff. Lyrics are pretty bad, so's the singing. I like the bass at the start of Closing In, and the chorus of Wrong World. | ||

| COVERCOVER COVERCOVER COVERCOVER COVERCOVER | I like the fast repetitive drum machine stuff, less-like the amount of vocal samples. Singing's very Suicidey (and some times Nick Cavey), but overall they sound like enough of their own thing. Sometimes skip the last two songs on side A. Skin's my fave?, like a more real version of the atmosphere of that Savin' the Day song from Ghostbusters. Like the fast drum machine in Where Are We Going. Don't like Slave, not really Done No Wrong either, but like the title track. | ||

Got to it on Youtube ages ago (I think via Whirlywirld), but later forgot most of the info about the song, and ended up putting it on the Lost Things page. I like the song apart from the looping voice samples that are extra annoying 'cause there's a different one in each channel. Otherwise I'm not that fussed about this EP. | ||

| COVERCOVER COVERCOVER COVERCOVER COVERCOVER | It's cheaper to get the whole album than get the single I really like—I'll Be Around, so I'm uming-and-ahing over it. Another example of me liking the upbeat songs and not the slow ones: I like I'll Be Around, Now You're On Your Own (but it's a bit long), Rainbow In Your Eyes, Soon As Your Thing Is Done, Riff Raff, Midnite Sky. |
