Notes on DS Games

Advance Wars: Dark Conflict / Advance Wars: Days of RuinNA / Famicom Wars DS 2JP
I had lots of fun with the map editor and playing online, but at this point the two GBA games are clearly the best of the series. The more stuff they add to these games the less I like them.
Animal Crossing: Wild World / おいでよ どうぶつの森JP
Bangai-O Spirits / バンガイオー魂JP
Initially I didn't enjoy this (though loved the N64 one) until I read this thread and tried the bat and shield combination. Since then it became one of my favourite DS games.
There's a good level editor included too—in-fact I've made a website for archiving levels. :)
超操縦メカ MG
Sandlot mecha-themed game where each vehicle has a custom interface on the touchscreen. There's an English language patch available.
Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland
Anti-capitalist in the sense that it's a deliberately dreary money-grind. It's by Vanpool, who are Love-de-Lic-related, and that comes through.
押忍!闘え!応援団
I haven't played any of the later Osu games, but I got this when I first got my DS, and liked it a lot.
Pic Pic / ピクピク ~解くと絵になる3つのパズル~JP
Collection of three kinds of puzzle game. Two are not so interesting (Maze Paint is just mazes, Drawing is a not-great [no undo!] version of some other game I played on a phone), but the third, Magipic is a solid logic-based game.
Picross 3D
It's great.
