I believe an Australia-only model. Though there're similar-looking, though differently coloured, one availible elsewhere as the HL-22xx series.

It's a cheap ($30 new in 2012) monochrome, laser printer, that I've got a lot of use out of.

I've always bought generics.

Works with CUPS just fine if you install brother-brgenml1.

※ In the CUPS options screen you might want to change the 'Number of Input Trays'. I believe three is correct.
