Tetsujin 28-Go is an early giant robot manga series, which has been adapted into several anime series. Mostly I'm interested in the PS2 game, though I'd like to watch the anime at some point.

This is my favourite of Sandlot's giant robot games (Remote Control Dandy, RAD), though like the giant robot stuff in some EDF games, the controls are simplified. You play from the perspective of the kid Shotaro Kaneda, who carries a control device for the robot. So not only are you moving that you have to poisiotn yourself so as to get a useful viewpoint whilst staying out of danger. Unlike the other giant robot games your robot pal can fly, pick up Shintaro, and throw buildings.
