Decorated Commercial Vehicle

デコトラ (Dekotora) is a portmanteau of decorated truck. Similar to the decorated trucks you see in India and Pakistan, but using lots of lights and chromed metal.

• 1978 - トラック野郎 (Truck Rascal) series.
• 2008 - デコトラ★ギャル奈美 (Dekotora Gal Nami) series.

• 1998 - 爆走デコトラ伝説 series of videogames, where you do jobs to earn points to better decorate your truck. Driving rules are slightly realistic, in that you stick to your lane, and have to indicate before turning. The music is always fun.
• 2000 - トラック狂走曲〜愛と哀しみのロデオ〜 on the PS2
• 2008 - 全国デコトラ祭り～よさこい爆走音盤～ on the Wii.
• 2022 - Asian Cargo Sim on Windows.
