Tool for designing software interfaces for music making. For me it's most interesting for creating interfaces for hardware via MIDI. Never had any luck getting it to work in Linux/Wine though (yet). Original doesn't seem to be being worked on anymore, but the CtrlrX fork is.
I don't know if there are any alternatives out there, apart from I stuff like Max, Pure Data, etc.
Tried with yabridge, but Wine dies each time CtrlrX tries to start.
When I'd tried the standalone version of plain Ctrlr i nWine before it would open but have breaking display issues.
There used to be a repository of user submitted panels on the Ctrlr site, but that's gone now.
