Neat little drum machine, easy to use. Clone of the Pearl Syncussion SY-1.
Main downside is that you can't control the parameters, apart from decay, over MIDI.
You set the MIDI in channel for the first voice with dip switches on the back, the next highest MIDI channel will be for the second voice.
You can't use MIDI CC to control the parameters, apart from decay on 80 and 81 for parts 1 and 2 respectively.
Managed to get the Roland TR-8 to trigger notes with regular audio out:
I've been able to get the TR-8 to trigger notes on the SY-1, which is kinda handy. For whatever reason the bass drum and hand clap work best, unfortunately they're both things I usually use on the TR-8 :/ You might have to mess with volume, decay, attack to get things going.
