Notes on Mega Drive Games

More of a wishlist of games I want to write notes about. I've definitely messed with the MD library on emulators, but ages ago. I'd like to get a MD and a flash cart in the future. Leaving out obvious shit like SOR, Treasure's stuff, the Konami games, etc… for now.

Key: Title, Format (for CD, 32X…), Other systems ↲ Note ↲ Note2

Aero Blasters
Android Assault: The Revenge of Bari-Arm
Atomic Runner Arcade, X68k
More intrigued by the arcade version, doesn't feel as dreamy, but would like to try this. Sucker for a guy who somersaults when jumping.
Battle Mania Daiginjō
Biohazard
Big soundtrack
Bio-ship Paladin
Control a space fortress thing
Blades of Vengeance
Amigayeuroshit sign me up.
Burning Force
Railshooter
Crusader of Centy
Elemental Master
Eliminate Down
Fire Shark
Gaiares
Gleylancer
Granada
Shooter where you're a little tank. Top-down, good movement options.
Grind Stormer
Amazing graphics, colour design
Kolibri 32X
Lord of Thunder CD
M.U.S.H.A.
Night Striker CD
Omega Blast
Star Soldier-like caravan shooter
Panorama Cotton
Ranger X
The Revenge of Shinobi
Ristar
Where did I first play this? I think I unlocked it in a Sonic compilation on the Gamecube? And then enjoyed it more than all the Sonic games on there.
Shadow Dancer
Second Shinobi MD game
Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
Slap Fight
Soul Star CD
Gorgeous rail shooter
Space Invaders '91
Starblade
Works with the XE1AP
Star Cruiser
Street Fighter II
both ones. There seems to be a bunch of patches to fix issues. They felt a bit dinky when I tried them before, but would like to revisit.
Subterrania
Really cool gravity/inertia cave flyer.
Thunder Force II
Thunder Force III
Thunder Force IV
Trouble Shooter
Truxton
Twin Hawk
Twinkle Tale
Undeadline
Wings of Wor
Zero Tolerance
Oh yeah, I remember getting into this when I was playing the MD ROMset. Going off an old comment: Stylish Doom clone where you control members of a team, each has different abilities. You can jump, and there's a cool flamethower. There's an unreleased but available sequel I haven't tried yet. Gets repetitive, but fun for a bit.
