Notes on DSiWare.
☞ As they're only available from an online shop you'll need to hack your DSi/3DS to get them on there.
3D Space Tank | |
---|---|
PALZONE version of the sequel to X got the blandest name possible. I really don't like the default stylus controls, but if you switch them to buttons it's alright—as far as these kinda tank combat games go. Would've been nice to have a 3DS version. | |

Art Style: Aquite / AquiaNA / AquarioJP | |
Art Style: Boxlife / HacolifeNA | |
Didn't think I'd enjoy this, but it's a pretty chill puzzle game about dividing a shape into bits that can be rolled into a cube/box. | |
Art Style: Intersect / DigidriveNA/JP | also on: GBA |
Port of the GBA game that's one of the best entries in the Bit Generations series. | |
Art Style: KuBos / PrecipiceNA / NalakuJP | |
Art Style: Picopict / PictobitsNA / PictopictJP | |
Falling blocks game where you can remove and add pieces. Enjoying it so far. | |
Dragon Quest Wars | |
Very puzzle-feeling turn-based strategy game by Intelligent Systems. I haven't actually finished the tutorial, got put off when I got to a stage that seemed to have only one solution. Appealed just 'cause you get to have a little army of Dragon Quest monsters. | |
Petit Computer | |
Reflect Missile / TrajectileNA | |
Puzzle game where you aim a missile that bounces round the screen and destroys blocks. There are different kinds of missiles, different amounts of missiles fired simultaneously, different arrangements of those missiles, and different kinds of blocks and targets. It's pretty neat, and aiming for medals on the stages, which you get by using less missiles than you are allotted, is fun. Would probably work just as well without the stylus though… | |
Trailblaze: Puzzle Incinerator | |
Puzzle game by Mindware. You control a snake, and you have to destroy groups of blocks by touch them. Play moves step-by-step as you do. Pretty hard to explain, but pretty neat. | |
