Windows XP

I run Windows XP on my StinkPad.

Networking

I'd never had to get an XP computer to connect to a network before, so it was a bit confusing. The process was:

  1. Right-click on the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop and select 'Map Network Drive…'.
  2. Enter the location in the 'Folder' input box, remembering Microsoft are weird so you gotta use the wrong slashes. EG: \\192.168.0.1\Backup.
  3. The rest should be pretty straight-forward: give it your login credentials, name the drive, …
