Player Names
In the English versions at least, apart from CAPRIATI, all(?) players are named similarly, but not identically to real tennis players. The names are all the same, even in the ones with 'Jennifer Capriati' in the title. There's a code to replace all the players with new ones, but they don't seem to be references to anyone. You can also create your own players, but you can't edit names of the default ones.
In the Japanese version the names are basically the same. The male players are listed first, and the Capriati character is moved from rank 1 to rank 10, with other players shifted up one place where required.
