This was a top-of-the-line //ultrabook// in 2002, I got mine 'cause someone was throwing it away in 2019. It has 512 megs of RAM and runs [[microsoft_windows_xp|Windows XP]] nicely! Mine's setup to replace my XP [[Virtualbox]] image I use for [[gmt>Sword of Moonlight]] and [[gmt>Klik & Play]]. Would've liked to run [[microsoft_windows_3|Windows 3.x]] on there, but apparently it's not [[MS-DOS]]-friendly, drivers-wise.

I use [[arch>xorg-xbacklight|xbacklight]] to change screen brightness. In my [[i3wm]] config:

  bindsym XF86MonBrightnessUp exec --no-startup-id xbacklight -inc 10
  bindsym XF86MonBrightnessDown exec --no-startup-id xbacklight -dec 10
