I run **Windows XP** on my [[thinkpad#X40|StinkPad]].

===== Networking =====

I'd never had to get an XP computer to connect to a network before, so it was a bit confusing. The process was:

  - Right-click on the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop and select 'Map Network Drive...'.
  - Enter the location in the 'Folder' input box, remembering Microsoft are weird so you gotta use the wrong slashes. EG: ''\\192.168.0.1\Backup''.
  - The rest should be pretty straight-forward: give it your login credentials, name the drive, ...
