To set the directory Geeqie starts in:

  - Edit > Configure this window...
  - Enter path into 'Home path'
  - Make 'Start-up directory 'Home path'

Desktop entry on Arch disables launching multiple instances, which can be annoying. Remove the ''-r'' flag to fix this.
