Summer Champion (サマーチャンピオン) popped up in my Youtube recs, and I forgot that I liked it before. Haven't listened to Yuko Asano for ages, but used to listen to Yuko In Disco a bit. Thought I'd try the album it's off and some others.
Summer Champion is still the standout, but there are few ohers with OutRun vibes that are okay, and a bunch of boring stuff.
3, 4, 6 is okay, 9 and the ones I like.

This is kinda a genre of pop that doesn't quite grab me usually, like I'm supposed to think it's experimental or something, but it aint.
Anyway, this is alright. I wish it was a bit less muddy. I like the title.

Very annoyed that I will one day have to buy this very expensive record to get the album version of Good-Bye Season.
Anyway most of these songs are good, and Good-bye Season and Overheat Night are two of my most fave J-Pop songs. PIANO's a dud, but at the end of side A.
Update: got a much more reasonable price on Amazon Japan :)

One of my favourite albums. I have to skip Babylon (kindly it's the last song on side A), but otherwise it's perfect. It feels really cohesive, but all the songs are produced by different people.

Starts out with some okay city pop, but it's almost like each song is worse than the last. It's like Rage, once you get a few duds in a row it's time to turn it off.
