You can also make a small playlist of songs that will be used for Streetpass. I only found out about this is March 2020, so not sure what exactly gets shared, but it looks like it makes a 'top 10' list of songs based on that, and makes a note when your tastes match with other people's. You can also make a small playlist of songs that will be used for Streetpass. -== Foobar2000 == +nbjp foobar_2000#Exporting files for the 3DS on the Foobar2000 page.
-For me, the easiest way to get music ready is to export playlists from ..:software:foobar_2000 to their own folders. +
- +
-  - Right click on a playlist +
-  - In that menu go Contents > File Operations > Copy to +
-    * If you save you 'Copy to' preset you can do ... > Copy to > [preset name]. You will still get a prompt and opportunity to change things before it runs. +
-  - Select a 'Destination folder' +
-  - Select a 'Filename pattern'. There's an easy-to-use dialogue, so you don't have to memories the syntax. +
-    * I like %list_index% - %title%, which names the files with the number they are in the playlist and the track name. +
-    * Can't seem to find any syntax for adding the name of the playlist, so it can stick it in a subfolder with that name though. You'll have to do this manually, either in your file manager, or when you export. +
-  - Uncheck the box 'Copy entire source folder content'. +
-  - Click 'Run'!+

   * Apply the filters that add echo, kinda remove the vocals, replace the song with '8-bit' instrumentation, and make it sound like it's playing on an old radio.   * Apply the filters that add echo, kinda remove the vocals, replace the song with '8-bit' instrumentation, and make it sound like it's playing on an old radio.

 +==== SD Card ====
 +On linux I use tool:software:mkfs to format the SD card. Guides say you need to format with a block size of 32kB/32768B, but mine is 4kB/4096B and seems to work fine? Does seem a little slower than the card that came with the 3DS? Haven't had any luck with the recommended block size. Very likely I just don't understand disks stuff enough.
 +
 +<code># mkfs.fat [disk]</code>
 +
 +Moving stuff to a new card is easy, just copy the directories over.
